Based on Minister of Finance no. 1169/KMK/01/1991, Leasing is a financing activity in the form of capital goods (with or without option rights) to be used by Lessee for a certain of time based on periodic payment. Leasing is often called rent or lend. There’s 3 main parties, such as:

  • Lessor : Financing company who has business license from the Financial Services Authority  and conducts lease activities.
  • Lessee : Individual / Business entity using capital goods with financing from the lessor.
  • Vendor / supplier : Business entity that provides and sells capital goods.
