Jakarta – In an effort to raise public awareness about the dangers and prevention of diabetes mellitus (DM), the Prolanis Club (Chronic Disease Management Program) at the Pasar Minggu Community Health Center successfully held an event to commemorate World Diabetes Day 2025. The event, themed “Let's Prevent Diabetes at Every Stage of Life,” was the result of a strategic collaboration with CSULfinance.
The event took place on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at the Rooftop of the Pasar Minggu Community Health Center in South Jakarta. This annual program specifically aims to increase public awareness and understanding of diabetes mellitus (DM) and the importance of early prevention and management of chronic diseases. Through this activity, it is hoped that participants will adopt a healthy lifestyle to reduce the risk of complications from diabetes.
This year's event involved a total of 100 participants, consisting of two main groups: 80 active members of the Prolanis Club at the Pasar Minggu Community Health Center, and 20 representatives from the Karang Taruna youth organization in the Pasar Minggu Community Health Center area, as a form of youth involvement and education.
The entire series of activities is designed to provide comprehensive education while promoting enjoyable physical activities, such as Group Exercise, Health Education, Free Blood Sugar Checks, and Free Eye Health Checks.
This World Diabetes Day commemoration event demonstrates the commitment of Club Prolanis and the Pasar Minggu Community Health Center to providing the best preventive and promotive health services to the community, while strengthening the synergy between health facilities, communities (Prolanis and Karang Taruna), and the private sector (CSULfinance) in creating a healthier society.
