The government has officially set 17 national holidays for 2026. The decision is based on a Joint Decree (SKB) issued by the Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture (Menko PMK), the Minister of Religious Affairs, the Minister of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform, and the Minister of Manpower.
