Chinese car brand BYD continues to show its strength in the Indonesian car market, after successfully entering the top five in car sales throughout October 2025. BYD's sales even knocked Honda out of the top five.
BYD performed aggressively during October with a total distribution to dealers or wholesales reaching 10,593 units. This result placed BYD as the third best-selling car brand last month, behind Toyota with 20,559 units and Daihatsu with 11,593 units. Honda had to accept the reality of now being in sixth place among the best-selling car brands, with only 3,647 units distributed to dealers.
