According to a study conducted by CEO World Magazine, London will be the most economically influential city in the world by 2025. The score achieved by the British capital in this ranking reached 85,498 points. The second most economically influential city is New York with a score of 83,496 points. Tokyo is in third place because it received a score of 82.598 points.

Meanwhile, Jakarta ranks 21st in the world out of 100 countries with a score of 72.524 points. Jakarta's position is superior to several major cities in Southeast Asia such as Kuala Lumpur (74th position with a score of 59.972 points), Bangkok (80th position with a score of 58.602 points), Hanoi (83rd position with a score of 57.376 points), and Manila (86th position with a score of 56.914 points).
For information, the ranking is assessed using five core indices that include economic strength (overall economic activity), financial clout (the strength of a city's financial and banking industries), society and politics (political clout and demographics), quality of life (productivity, infrastructure, quality of life, social equity and inclusion, and environmental sustainability), and competitiveness (business activity, human capital, cultural experience, and political engagement).
