The aviation industry-focused rating agency Skytrax has released its World's Top 100 Airports 2025. The release lists the 100 best airports in the world, seven of which are in Southeast Asia.

Changi International Airport in Singapore, is not only the best airport in Southeast Asia, Changi International Airport has also been named the best airport in the world by Skytrax in 2025, because Changi International Airport tops the list, which last year was in second place. This year, Changi International Airport replaced Hamad International Airport, which was named Skytrax's best airport last year.

Meanwhile, from Indonesia, there are two international airports included in the list, namely Soekarno Hatta International Airport Jakarta in 25th place and Ngurah Rai International Airport Bali which sits at 72nd place.

Here is the list of the best airports in Southeast Asia 2025:

  2. Soekarno Hatta International Airport - Indonesia (World Rank 25)
  3. Suvarnabhumi Airport - Thailand (World Rank 39)
  4. Kuala Lumpur International Airport - Malaysia (World Rank 65)
  5. I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport - Indonesia (World Rank 72)
  6. Noi Bai International Airport - Vietnam (World Rank 79)
  7. Da Nang International Airport - Vietnam (World Rank 84)

For information, this ranking is based on a visitor experience survey that involved more than 100 airport visitors from various countries. This survey took place in August 2024-February 2025. Skytrax also conducted an assessment of 575 airports throughout Indonesia. Meanwhile, the things that become assessment points are check-in, arrival, shuttle, shopping, immigration, security, and departure.
